Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Direct Mail Notification?

It’s an email campaign notifying you of an interesting direct mail piece that is “arriving soon”. Inside the email, we display a picture of the mail piece and often a link to the website of the sender.

Is this similar to Informed Delivery from the USPS?

While it has some similarities to the USPS Informed Delivery service, we feature a single mail piece in our email.

Why do I want this service?

Often the best direct mail pieces get lost in the deluge of catalogs and circulars that fill one’s postal box. This highlights a mail piece. Maybe it has a coupon for a free entrée or 25% off your online order. Make sure you don’t miss it and plan for it in advance.

How do I see what a Direct Mail Notification looks like?

You can find a sample here. We clearly display the company sending the direct mail, what the piece looks like, and usually there will be a link back to a website or landing page.

What if I don’t want to receive these emails?

At the bottom of all Direct Mail Notifications is a way to opt out of future ones.

What if I would like more emails featuring the best mail pieces arriving soon?

We are expanding this service, but right now a very small percentage of direct mail gets a notification.
